Documentary Filming

Recently, the 96’ yacht Pacifica, returned from a sixteen-day private charter with some of the top nature filmmakers in the world. This project included a new, previously untested, $2 million dollar camera for underwater virtual reality. The director of this nature filming group has been chartering all kinds of vessels over thirty years while doing film and video production for the BBC, Nat Geo, etc. He claims Pacifica was the best yacht and crew he has worked with, and then he posted the following on social media:

The company I work for, Madison Square Garden’s Studios, chartered the “Pacifica” for a Dive/Shoot trip to film off Espiritu Santo for 16 days. What an amazing experience. The Best Crew Ever!! I have chartered boats for decades, and I must say this is by far one of the best operations out there. Gabe, the captain was professional, and safety minded, his wife an amazing chef who cooked for us non-stop. Lena is an amazing host, and a professional diver and deckhand. Honestly there wasn’t any request not fulfilled by Lena. Our British crew insisted on boiling water for their tea, and why not, it’s their national drink so Gabe sent a supply vessel on a 5-hour trip to source a proper Tea Pot. AMAZING. Lalo is another crew member/deckhand who went above and beyond the call of duty. An Amazing Crew. An Amazing Experience. I will Definitely see this Crew again!!! Thank you ALL!!!
